The Human Resources Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day administration and operation of the human resources functions and duties, supporting the team in the implementation of the HR strategy and company-wide projects. To do so, the Human Resources Coordinator will be expected to…
Understand and support recruitment strategy for Head Office and stores across Canada in order to attract enough qualified candidates to effectively and efficiently fill positions (job posting, sourcing, phone screening, references, background check etc.)
Identify new opportunities for sourcing of candidates and employment branding
Coordinate and process new hire documentation as well as coordinate on-boarding sessions.
Maintaining employees’ files up to date.
Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries.
Provide various reports from Attracting Talent System (Icims) and excel reports on HR KPIs, staffing, headcount reports, quarterly operations review, organization charts, job descriptions and ad hoc requests as needed.
Coordinate employee’s recognition programs
Coordinate Heath & Safety programs
Participate in various internal communication activities

Vibrant and positive personality
2+ years of human resources/recruitment experience
Post-secondary degree in human resources
CHRP designation an asset but not required
Experience supporting an HR or Recruitment function
Efficient multi-tasker with the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
This role requires exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, strong Microsoft software application skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the ability to quickly learn to navigate and use Attracting Talent System Icims (strong asset).
The individual must be detail oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
This position requires the ability to work independently as well as be a collaborative member of a team in a fast-paced environment where business needs are constantly changing.
