    Under the general supervision of the Director, Birks Bridal & Prestige Jewellery, the Assistant Brand Manager, Birks Bridal & Prestige Jewellery provides the necessary support to ensure the successful administration of programs as well as communications related to product.  He / she provides a high quality of customer service to all external and internal customers.

     

     

     

    To do so, the Assistant Brand Manager, Birks Bridal & Prestige Jewellery will be expected to…

     

    • Assists the Director in product creation and briefs to the Design, PD & Sourcing teams.
    • Assists the Director in lifecycle management of the assortment in Bridal and Salon, coordinating the communication to Procurement and Planning following bi-annual line reviews.
    • Maintains price changes and communicates the information to Procurement and Planning.
    • Communicates with Vendors on QC feedback (internal and external).
    • Manages incoming calls from stores and vendors.
    • Coordinates the availability of samples required for Marketing & PR.
    • Assists with the preparation and communication of product knowledge packages and Visual
    • Merchandising planograms;
    • Provides support for the Director;
    • Responsible for communicating quality control issues and detailed data entries where applicable;
    • Participates in other tasks and special projects as may be required.
    • Produces or obtains Sales and Inventory status Reports as needed.
    • Supervises and tracks all private consignment return to owners.
    • Updates and maintains all necessary hard copy or digitized files.

     

    Our ideal candidate has…

     

    Education

    • College Degree in Administration, Merchandising or Marketing

     

    Experience

    • 3 years of clerical and administrative experience, preferably in a retail environment

    Skills

    • Excellent organization skills, and ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Knowledge of Jewelry is a definite asset
    • Solid knowledge of MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

    • Customer Service
    • Bilingual preferred: French and English (spoken/written).
