To do so, the Senior E- Commerce Specialist will be expected to…

  • Develop meaningful relationships with each client
  • Partner with the Retail Merchandising department to optimize the online inventory level and product assortment for e-commerce
  • Manage the online product catalogue, including SEO-friendly product naming, categorization/hierarchy and comprehensive product descriptions
  • Update and maintain product imagery, identifying areas for improvement
  • Manage online pricing, as well as special product and pricing promotions
  • Create targeted landing pages for paid and organic web traffic
  • Update website content (banners, copy, videos, etc.) in conjunction with marketing campaigns and as needed, ensuring website is always up-to-date and accurate
  • Merchandise products on the website in accordance with marketing campaigns and seasonality (i.e. featured products, bestsellers, etc.)
  • Analyze weekly e-commerce sales and work with the CRM Marketing Analyst to gather insights on online customer behavior, in order to optimize website for conversion, as well as make recommendations for effective online marketing campaigns and/or future website enhancements
  • Monitor online browsing and purchasing behaviour using analytics, as well as conduct A/B tests and usability testing (as needed) in order to identify opportunities to optimize the online user experience
  • Collect and analyze customer and employee feedback from the retail stores and online store in order to identify opportunities to create a seamless omnichannel customer experience
  • Report website bugs to web development agency and oversee the resolution of such issues
  • Manage project work for website enhancements (gathering requirements from cross-functional teams, planning and executing user acceptance testing, etc.) to ensure successful implementation, working in conjunction with external agency
  • Actively benchmark against other online retailers and provide competitive analysis
  • Manage and optimize the affiliate marketing program to support e-commerce sales
  • Other e-commerce and digital marketing support as required

 

Our ideal candidate has…

 

A.    EDUCATION

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, E-Commerce, or any relevant Diploma in E-commerce

B. EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years experience in Marketing and/or E-Commerce

  • At least 1 year experience in E-Commerce

C.    SKILLS

  • Experience using e-commerce platforms, specifically Magento
  • Strong understanding of SEO and SEM
  • Experience managing product data, including product content, pricing and inventory
  • Experience creating customer-facing content that is optimized for search engines
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Strong understanding of web analytics, specifically Google Analytics
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Bilingual (French & English, Written & Spoken)
  • Strong team values
