Under the general supervison of the Director,Branded Timepieces, the Coordinator, Special Orders - Branded Watches is responsible for processing special order requests and provide information on inquiries within the customer service standards established for the department.


To do so, the Coordinator, Special Orders - Branded Watches will be expected to…


  • Process Special order requests and inquiries for the assigned merchandise category
  • Provide customer service to sales associates through timely communication of information
  • Assess each special order request or inquiry and determine course of action required
  • Coordinate obtaining merchandise from internal/external vendors to meet request specifications
  • Monitor and follow-up with sales associates on pending requests/inquiries.
  • Provide Assistant Manager or Manager with information necessary for analysis purposes
  • Verification and processing special order requests and inquires for assigned merchandise category to meet established customer service standards.
  • Coordinate obtaining merchandise from internal/external sources for special order requests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files for assigned merchandise group
  • Report any issues or problems that affect performance as they arise with the immediate supervisor
  • Provide input as necessary in the development, implementation and maintenance of all systems, policies and procedures, and standards related to the processing of special order requests and inquiries
  • Communicate, update and follow-up with stores on submitted requests/inquiries via the system or other means (if necessary).
  • Maintain good working relationships with assigned merchandise category vendors

Our ideal candidate has…


  • College Degree or equivalent


  • 2 years related experience in a customer service position


  • Customer service oriented
  • Retail sales or administration experience an asset
  • Working knowledge of computer programs ( Office 97, Windows, Excel and Word)
  • Knowledge of IRIS system or other merchandise management system
  • Good communication skills: written and verbal in French and English
  • General knowledge of jewelry and gift retail business
  • Adapts easily to change and able to learn quickly and easily
  • Organized, thorough and detail oriented
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Team player
